This was so much fun last year, so I'm doing it again!

The rules:

This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.

When posting a prompt please format it this way:

fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

Lastly, please pimp this to your flist, I'd like as many as possible to come and participate!

Narnia is held between four pairs of hands: Peter, High King, who defends his beloved land with his sword and his breath and all the blood in his body; Sam, deceptively gentle, always ready with his bow and his charm, willing to die for Narnia, as they all are. There is Edmund, who foremost has his words, diplomatic and subtle, icy and poised, a speech for every occasion and his hand at his sword for when words are not enough; and carefree Lucas, who fights when his brothers and his country need him, but whose greatest gift to Narnia is the love he bears for everything around him, the way Narnia herself breaths inside him.

Four kings, boys turned into men, each strong in their own way; Narnia cannot fall while they belong to her.
