This was so much fun last year, so I'm doing it again!

The rules:

This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.

When posting a prompt please format it this way:

fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

Lastly, please pimp this to your flist, I'd like as many as possible to come and participate!

Have fun!

Edit: December 1: [livejournal.com profile] grim_lupine is being awesome again this year! She's compiled all your prompts into this delicious archive. All prompts are tagged with fandom and if it's filled or not. So, to make this easier on her, when prompting, please, use the whole name of the fandom and not just the abbreviation. Thanks!

Also: Multiple answers to prompts are not just allowed, but encouraged as well. Don't let the fact that someone else has answered it first stop you if you like the prompt!

If you have any questions ask them to the first comment.

Granted, Queen Edlyn was small, her body thin and not as tall as any of her siblings (they were all tall, she was just the smallest), and people kept underestimating her and she just couldn't understand why?

It took her an embarrassing amount of time before she learned to use it to her advantage.

If they wanted to see a sweet demure girl, then that was what they'd get, right up until she made her move.

(SO HAPPY TO HAVE EDLYN BACK, YOU GUYS!)

Edlyn has the remarkable ability to slip out of people's field of vision whenever she doesn't want to be seen. It's useful when she must uncover secrets about her land that most people think are best left alone.

Sometimes, though, she wants people to look at her, to stare at the beautiful creature who has walked into their midst, so she wears short sleek dresses and actually goes to Susan for help with her face.

(OMG, ME TOO. :D)

I love that Edlyn wants to dress up sometimes and goes to Susan for that. :D Have you read Tamora Pierce's Song of the Lioness quartet? It kind of reminds me of that.

I love Edlyn so much! I haven't written much for a while and coming back to her was like a breath of fresh air, because it was so easy to fall back into her rhythm.

I've heard of Tamora Pierce, but never read any of her books.

Okay, I would recommend ANY of Tamora Pierce's books; in my opinion she's the best author of young-adult female role models I've ever read. I adore her books. :)
