As for sights, there are the usual tourist attractions, but my personal must-do thing: I'm very fond of wandering around in the general area of Leicester Square. Theatre tickets boots and cinemas everywhere...thw whole area just embodies London to me;) Then again, I am something of a musical theatre/film geek. If you want to do something a bit out there, I found my visit to the Old Operating Theatre Museum (http://www.thegarret.org.uk/) hugely enjoyable.
