Welcome to the Three Sentence Fic-A-Thon:

Photobucket

This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.

When posting a prompt please format it this way:

fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

Lastly, please pimp this to your flist, I'd like as many as possible to come and participate!

Have fun!

If you have any questions ask them to the first comment.

Edit December 10th: Thanks to the brilliant [livejournal.com profile] grim_lupine we now have a delicious account. So head on over there to find some unfilled prompts: three_sentence_ficathon's delicious bookmarks.

A small note from [livejournal.com profile] grim_lupine who's organizing the delicious archive: "So I'm not familiar with all the fandoms here; sometimes when people post a ficlet they abbreviate a fandom and sometimes they don't (like BSG versus Battlestar Galactica, but I know that one) so I might have it listed twice in the delicious tags. If someone notices something messed up they can comment below." -- So do that, and when requesting something new, please use the fandom's whole name.

Doctor Who, Author's Choice, Just one more moment like this

It is these moments that keep you going; when he laughs, when his eyes light up as he takes your hand and you dash across the stars, clinging together through time and space. You must seize upon those moments, those precious, fragile, joyful moments; store them safe, away from all the rest.
And when the weight of the Universe presses upon you, you will find the strength to fight; if only for one more moment like this.

memories too, Donna Noble, pg

She knew it could never last forever, even if she kept saying that she would never leave him- somehow she knew that one day all this wonder would stop and she'd be back in her dreary old life. So she took everyday as a blessing, kept soaking up every sight and stored away all of his smiles and cataloged every tune of his laugh; so that when she was back, the memories would keep her company, keep her afloat after he left her. How could she ever know that along with her heart, he'd take her memories too.

Okay, I know you don't know Donna yet, but it seems she's the only Doctor Who character I can write.

Oh! Thank you. I've seen enough of Donna to know that this is totally in character and totally amazing.

(But Journey's End hasn't happened yet and as far as I'm concerned it never will so I don't know what you're talking about!)
