"Your smile," Shaun murmurs against his mouth, and Zach feels his lips curve up against his will; "Ah, there it is," Shaun continues, eyes crinkling with those laugh lines Zach loves so much (he's not used to people like Shaun, so bone-deep happy that laughter flows in his very veins, but he thinks he might be learning how to be that way now), "there's that smile with those dimples I love."

Zach feels his ears start burning, and kisses Shaun half out of a desire to stop him from talking, half because he can't spend more than a minute in Shaun's company without wanting to kiss him; Shaun hums into his mouth, licks against the seam of his lips teasingly but pulls back to say, "Ah ah, Zach, you're going to listen to me whether you like it or not; another thing I love about you is that you try so hard to glare at me like you're mad, but your eyes just keep missing mine and heading toward my mouth instead."

He laughs, bright and joyous, when Zach shoves his shoulder and growls at him, and he falls back on the bed and pulls Zach down on top of him; he seems determined to make Zach's face burst into flame with embarrassment, whispering into his ear things that are a mix of sugar-sweet and shiveringly-filthy, and Zach doesn't tell Shaun this but what he loves most about Shaun is that he makes Zach see what true happiness is supposed to feel like.

How very cute this is! I adore Zach trying to fight off a smile, and kissing Shaun to try to shut him up, and Shaun seeing right through him! And the shoving! So many adorable moments here!
