fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

Donna's chest is heaving- not that the Doctor ever notices that- her eyes are flashing, and he's pretty sure the time left before Donna slaps Jack is in the single digits of seconds.
"Doesn't he know better than to provoke her?" the Doctor hisses to Rose, who is watching the scene with fascinated amusement.
"Oh, I'd say Jack *definitely* knows what he's doing," Rose replies with a wicked smile. "Don't you, Doctor?"
The Doctor blinks as he watches Donna bodily haul Jack out of the control room, and desperately tries to ignore the faint noises he might be hearing from the hallway.
"So, where to next?" the Doctor says just a little bit too loudly as he lunges at the console.
