fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

When she is twelve and just entering into the uncomfortable world of womanhood, she dreams her father's death. She tells herself that it was only a nightmare, but even before the messenger comes back with the news (run through on the field of battle, an honorable end) she knows it to be a lie.

Later, at Camelot, in spite of all the drugs Gaius can give her, fear never leaves her bed; she waits with dread for the day she will dream again.
