"Not to be rude, because this is fascinating work," Edmund says, knees deep in dirt and gesturing with the shovel in his hand, "Really fascinating, but the question is why we got stuck with it."

"Because torching the corpse is the uninteresting part, of course, and our brothers are jerks," Sam says from somewhere in his grave.

"And how come you can dig so much faster than me?" Edmund demands, glaring as Sam pops up and grins at him.

(JUST IGNORE THE FACT THAT THEY'RE FIFTY YEARS APART. IGNORE IT. the Pevensies got resurrected! I DUNNO.)

I'm starting to spend my nights alternately watching Criminal Minds (bitzkrieg watch! 52 episodes in like, five or six days. heee!) and hanging out here while it loads. :P

I think you might like it? I don't know, I really like it and we seem to be sharing a lot of tastes so far. I pretty much think it's fabulous, which is kind of funny because I have never been a procedural person. I think it's mostly because of the characters, who I adore to pieces. (thankfully, the ones I love most are still on the show. yay!)

yeah, me too. :P it's loads of fun! I just came off of NaNo so I'm really enjoying the pressure-free zone.

I've liked what I've seen so far--I don't know, it looks like a smart show? if that makes sense. And Spencer Reid seems adorable. :D

Ha, see, I've never been a plot-writer. I only write oneshots, ever, and I'm better at exploring character and imagery more than getting any plot down, so this ficathon is especially fun for me. :D

it is! I like how smart it is, and how there's a lot of focus on characterization. I guess it's just different from the other procedural shows, because I don't like most of them (except for Numb3rs, which I guess has a similar difference). and Reid is RIDICULOUSLY adorable, and probably my favorite. right next to Morgan, who's ridiculously awesome too.

yeahhhh, me too. fanfiction wise, at least. original fiction I can generally write with at least a semblance of a plot, though my stuff does tend to be pretty character-oriented no matter what I'm writing.

The point of cracky delicious crossovers is that no one cares when you were born. Especially when he gets to meet Sam Winchester. Edmund is magical and can travel through time whenever he wants. (Besides, you answered my Narnia/Star Trek one, which is an even bigger time difference)

apparently Edmund totally has MAGICAL TIME TRAVELING POWERS. or something. I don't even know! but it makes it easy to write.
