Welcome to the Three Sentence Fic-A-Thon:

Photobucket

This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.

When posting a prompt please format it this way:

fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

Lastly, please pimp this to your flist, I'd like as many as possible to come and participate!

Have fun!

If you have any questions ask them to the first comment.

Edit December 10th: Thanks to the brilliant [livejournal.com profile] grim_lupine we now have a delicious account. So head on over there to find some unfilled prompts: three_sentence_ficathon's delicious bookmarks.

A small note from [livejournal.com profile] grim_lupine who's organizing the delicious archive: "So I'm not familiar with all the fandoms here; sometimes when people post a ficlet they abbreviate a fandom and sometimes they don't (like BSG versus Battlestar Galactica, but I know that one) so I might have it listed twice in the delicious tags. If someone notices something messed up they can comment below." -- So do that, and when requesting something new, please use the fandom's whole name.

TOGETHER, THEY FIGHT CRIME. (what? IT WAS TOTALLY A FITTING END TO THAT SENTENCE.)

I'm starting to spend my nights alternately watching Criminal Minds (bitzkrieg watch! 52 episodes in like, five or six days. heee!) and hanging out here while it loads. :P

GODZILLA-MAN AND SARCASTIC-BOY, DEFENDERS OF JUSTICE AND PEACE. XD (ENEMIES OF JERK OLDER BROTHERS EVERYWHERE. :D)

I've started DVR'ing Criminal Minds to see if I'll like it. I've seen like two episodes and it looks good. :)

I think I hit the refresh button on this page like every two minutes. XD

"We need capes," Sam says, and Edmund shudders and looks at him, horrified.

"How can you even suggest that?" he demands. "You know that capes come with tights!"

I think you might like it? I don't know, I really like it and we seem to be sharing a lot of tastes so far. I pretty much think it's fabulous, which is kind of funny because I have never been a procedural person. I think it's mostly because of the characters, who I adore to pieces. (thankfully, the ones I love most are still on the show. yay!)

yeah, me too. :P it's loads of fun! I just came off of NaNo so I'm really enjoying the pressure-free zone.

Oh, Edmund, you know you'd look fabulous in tights, bb. :D

I've liked what I've seen so far--I don't know, it looks like a smart show? if that makes sense. And Spencer Reid seems adorable. :D

Ha, see, I've never been a plot-writer. I only write oneshots, ever, and I'm better at exploring character and imagery more than getting any plot down, so this ficathon is especially fun for me. :D

"NEVER," Edmund proclaims, "such a thing would be against all the dignity of a king!"

"Oh, because you never ditched your Guard to swim naked in the ocean?"

"THAT'S DIFFERENT."

it is! I like how smart it is, and how there's a lot of focus on characterization. I guess it's just different from the other procedural shows, because I don't like most of them (except for Numb3rs, which I guess has a similar difference). and Reid is RIDICULOUSLY adorable, and probably my favorite. right next to Morgan, who's ridiculously awesome too.

yeahhhh, me too. fanfiction wise, at least. original fiction I can generally write with at least a semblance of a plot, though my stuff does tend to be pretty character-oriented no matter what I'm writing.
