"You want this" Bones asks half-afraid that Jim is about to reveal some elaborate trick now that he's gotten Bones to confess his feelings."

Jim nods and kisses Bones softly, "you are the most stubborn, brilliant man I know and whenever I've needed a friend or someone to rely on it's always been you who was there for me, may have taken me far too long to realise it but what we have some people never get."

Bones is surprised to have this declaration from Jim but sees no mocking in those blue eyes as he pulls Jim close and kisses him again marveling at the sensation of Jim's lips on his, when they break the kiss he has to have the final word "about damn time."
