purging shit

I have too much shit on my flist. And by that I don't mean you guys, you are all amazing- I mean all the comms that I don't really read any more. My time has become more limited and I spend way too much time trying to catch up on my flist. I think I'll have to go and remove some of the more boring communities.

Today, in English Lit. class our homework is to write a short-story about our mother. I'm beside myself with glee. I LOVE THIS CLASS SO MUCH!

I feel about the same way about my time and where my energy is going. Because I love LJ and everyone here, but when I have four hours of class and we're supposed to spend an hour out of class for every hour in it, two hours to check my flist is a HUGE chunk out of my time. The worst part is when only one person has posted in four hours, but I hang around LJ anyway, just looking for something to do.

What a coincidence! In my French class we need to write about someone we've known since childhood.

Yeah, I have to watch how much LJ is eating of my time. But lately I haven't had enough time to check it all. So I went ahead and deleted some coms I really didn't check all that much.

I had actually started on Friday - but I'd just done like a Welcome Day, an introductory lecture and a diagnostic test. This week is the first week with like "proper" lectures. I had one yesterday which was awesome. Next (two) are tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to that!

I'll best. I really need to clear my flist like now.
