Welcome to the Three Sentence Fic-A-Thon:

Photobucket

This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.

When posting a prompt please format it this way:

fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

Lastly, please pimp this to your flist, I'd like as many as possible to come and participate!

Have fun!

If you have any questions ask them to the first comment.

Edit December 10th: Thanks to the brilliant [livejournal.com profile] grim_lupine we now have a delicious account. So head on over there to find some unfilled prompts: three_sentence_ficathon's delicious bookmarks.

A small note from [livejournal.com profile] grim_lupine who's organizing the delicious archive: "So I'm not familiar with all the fandoms here; sometimes when people post a ficlet they abbreviate a fandom and sometimes they don't (like BSG versus Battlestar Galactica, but I know that one) so I might have it listed twice in the delicious tags. If someone notices something messed up they can comment below." -- So do that, and when requesting something new, please use the fandom's whole name.

This is harsh but beautiful and caring too. Pike knowing what Jim needs to hear and knowing he's not ready to take it in yet. It certainly must be a tough job being Captain. Perfect mini fic.

Pike is so cool, but I feel he's also known his fair share of pain. I really wish there were more about him in canon, though, because between you and this ficathon, I ship Pike/Jim like crazy. Actually, I'm not quite sure whether to love you or hate you for this new obsession...

I'd apologise if they weren't such a great pairing. Please don't hate me *g*

My fave is Jim/McCoy but I do like either of them with Pike and sometimes all three together. The dynamic with Jim is great because of the mentor role and the fact that he researched the Kelvin could imply a fascination with George Kirk so there's the potential to make it a bit of a twisted relationship. He does deserve more canon but at least this way you can invent lots of background for him.

He's so great he has his own community [livejournal.com profile] pike_2009
