Scotty finds himself almost hoping for another shipwide emergency because then Pavel will appear on all the screens with that voice and those eyes that drive him absolutely crazy. The other crewmen may think of him as just a kid, But Scotty knows better than that - he's a wonderful human being who just needs to grow into his power as a man-beast.

Ever since Chekov shook his head sadly and said that he was already taken, that he couldn't be happier, Scotty has known that this is the closest he'll ever get to loving him.

Oh poor Scotty, so lonely. Thank you for this, it must have been hard for him to ask or declare his feelings only to have Chekov reject him. Hopefully he will find someone. Thanks for filling the prompt and hurting him on my behalf. It really made me sympathise with him.

I hate to say this, but I took great pleasure in hurting him. Maybe it was just those shocked eyes in your icon, but it was almost fun to make him lonely. I'm sure Chekov felt really bad that he had to tell him no, but he had no other choice. Scotty definitely needs to find someone so he doesn't spend the rest of his life lusting after the Enterprise's ample nacelles ;)

Awww, I do hope he finds someone but I remember leaving a few harsh prompts in a row because I was having a bad day. The characters are totally at the mercy of my mood *g*
