Welcome to the Three Sentence Fic-A-Thon:

Photobucket

This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.

When posting a prompt please format it this way:

fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

Lastly, please pimp this to your flist, I'd like as many as possible to come and participate!

Have fun!

If you have any questions ask them to the first comment.

Edit December 10th: Thanks to the brilliant [livejournal.com profile] grim_lupine we now have a delicious account. So head on over there to find some unfilled prompts: three_sentence_ficathon's delicious bookmarks.

A small note from [livejournal.com profile] grim_lupine who's organizing the delicious archive: "So I'm not familiar with all the fandoms here; sometimes when people post a ficlet they abbreviate a fandom and sometimes they don't (like BSG versus Battlestar Galactica, but I know that one) so I might have it listed twice in the delicious tags. If someone notices something messed up they can comment below." -- So do that, and when requesting something new, please use the fandom's whole name.

"Spock," he said, seriously for once, "I think you've got the wanderlust - Your eyes are filled with stars, I know you want to get out there and go anywhere." The Vulcan raised a perfectly plucked eyebrow, saying nothing, but exuding a sense that Jim had never been more wrong in his foolish human existence. "Come on Spock, I've seen you staring up at the sky, wondering what's out there; if there's anything I know, it's the need to be more and see more and you've got it; so come with me and there's nothing we can't do, as long as we're together."

Ahh! This is exquisite! I love how you can really get a feel for the dynamic of their relationship in just a few sentences, and how Spock doesn't even need to say anything at all for Kirk to understand what he's trying to express. I love it! <3

Yay! I'm glad you like it. I think Spock and Kirk have gotten so used to each other they barely even need words. And when Jim's had a long day and he's barely escaped on the latest away mission, returning to the bridge and seeing Spock again feels like coming home.
