Welcome to the Three Sentence Fic-A-Thon:

Photobucket

This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.

When posting a prompt please format it this way:

fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

Lastly, please pimp this to your flist, I'd like as many as possible to come and participate!

Have fun!

If you have any questions ask them to the first comment.

Edit December 10th: Thanks to the brilliant [livejournal.com profile] grim_lupine we now have a delicious account. So head on over there to find some unfilled prompts: three_sentence_ficathon's delicious bookmarks.

A small note from [livejournal.com profile] grim_lupine who's organizing the delicious archive: "So I'm not familiar with all the fandoms here; sometimes when people post a ficlet they abbreviate a fandom and sometimes they don't (like BSG versus Battlestar Galactica, but I know that one) so I might have it listed twice in the delicious tags. If someone notices something messed up they can comment below." -- So do that, and when requesting something new, please use the fandom's whole name.

It was May, but spring had been cold that year so Susan decided to let the fire burn in her room, even if it resulted in endless mocking from her brothers.

But after a few days she realised that Peter and Edmund were spending far more time in her room than normal- this puzzled her to no end until she one afternoon asked them why, while the four of them were having tea.

Peter and Edmund shifted nervously and looked at each other in embarrassment before Edmund muttered, "Our rooms are cold."

The fire is banked, embers glowing softly in the darkness as a leopard shifts in the shadows, keeping watch over a young queen who insisted on spending Summer solstice under the stars.

Susan watches from a window in the tower above, her hearth full and crackling with warmth in the cool night, and she wonders if Lucy thought to take a warm enough blanket with her.

Hundreds of miles away, dressed in blood spattered armor, Peter stands before a funeral pyre, reciting prayers for the souls of his dead soldiers as Edmund stokes the flames.
