Shelter, Zach/Shaun, Zach's special name for Shaun

Sweetheart, darling, babe and honey may work well enough for other couples but they don't fit them, aren't special enough to convey how much Shaun means to him. Shaun calls him beautiful quite a bit and though it used to make him blush he's grown to like it, to realise that Shaun sees him that way. One night he experimentally calls Shaun angel and Shaun doesn't tease because he sees how serious Zach looks, "you're either my guardian angel or sent by mine because you've changed my life so much, protected me, loved me and to quote Kelly Clarkson my life would suck without you."

I love this! Zach especially would be hesitant to use pet names, but angel has so much meaning for him that it fits for the two of them. This is beautiful. :D

Thanks :) my own faith in angels is quite strong but the change in Zach's life before and after Shaun must have seemed like a rescue. I love the idea of him taking time to choose something 'right'.

Zach's name for Shaun is lovely! Loving, but not too mushy- that's Shaun's dept. Very realistic and adorable.
