Shelter, Shaun/Zach, Gabe stays for Christmas.

Gabe's always loved spending time with Shaun, from the time he built sandcastles with Gabe on the beach, to all the times he's been the cool older brother and supplied beer for their parties with the cautionary words, "I trust you guys, so don't make me regret that; I want all of you stay safe, don't do anything stupid."

Christmas should feel a little weird now that it's Shaun, Zach and Cody's home, but what's weird is that it doesn't feel strange, instead feels like coming home himself; Shaun kisses a protesting Zach under the mistletoe and catches Gabe grinning at them, and raises an inquisitive eyebrow.

Gabe shakes his head, says, "You two make each other happy, that's all; Merry Christmas, bro."

(I caved and deleted my High School Musical icon [I don't even write in that fandom, I just had it because my friend made it and Chad/Ryan makes me giggle :D] and got a Shelter icon. :D)

Yay for shiny new icon. I almost chose that one myself, looking at all the shelter icons was being like a kid in a sweet shop.

This is really lovely, that their relationship doesn't make him awkward at all and that their home is so welcoming. Perfect holiday fic. Also loved the cool older brother stuff. Thank you.

I was like *this* close to picking an animated icon of the two of them kissing up against the wall, but this one ended up catching my eye. XD

:D Yay, I'm glad you liked it! I think Shaun was totally the cool older brother that all of Gabe's friends had some sort of a crush on. He's just that awesome.

Thank you! I would imagine it would be a little strange for Gabe, no matter how supportive he is, but he can see (like the rest of us) how in love they truly are. :D
