What do I know?
Oct. 29th, 2007 11:48 pmWhen I was younger (11-13) I liked to think that I knew very much. I couldn't wait to get grades and I was sure that I would do great. But when I got there I just did average, I mostly got 4+ (that's a C+ right?) and some 5 and a few 6 (A). I later learned that I could certainly get good grades if I just worked a little more for them. And then I got sick and I've missed tenth and eleventh grade.
But I started thinking what do I actually know? And I decided that I know a lot about few things.
Harry Potter:
I know a whole lot about Harry Potter. All the knew canon stuff JKR has revealed through the years. I know much about the movies, how they make them and such.
Chronicles of Narnia:
I know all canon here too. I know a lot about the author, CS Lewis. I know how they made the movie, I have the extended version with extra features, and I counting the days to when the next one comes out. May 16, 2008 if you're wondering. I check the production blog on Narnia.com, which are updated each month.
Lord of the Rings:
I think I know quite a lot about this too. I know all details about the movie (extra features? I love them!) I know a little about the first draft where Tolkien had Aragorn in love with Eowyn. (Being a A/E shipper I certainly like this draft;P)
Ancient Egypt:
Fascinates me so much. I wrote a paper on it when I was twelve. So I guess I know more than the average person, but I wish I knew more.
Religion:
Was my favorite subject in school, the only subject I got A's. I really impressed my teacher about my knowledge, mostly christianity since I'm christian, but I'm really good at remembering stuff. Sadly my memory is not so great after I got sick.
Looking up at my list, I realize that I know much about movies, I always watch the extra features. If a book interest me, I normally research it for more details. History interests me very much. I think that I might want to study it after I finish high school (which might take some years if I don't get well soon!)
