I don't know - my friend had a similar problem not long ago where her mac wouldn't connect to her school internet. I think it was a one-time thing? if it persists, you should ask the library people for help. I hope it doesn't!
as for re-using actors/actresses, I dunno. probably not? I think you should just cast by who you think would do the role well, and if you end up getting repeats I won't think it's bad.
