This was so much fun last year, so I'm doing it again!

The rules:

This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.

When posting a prompt please format it this way:

fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

“I'll break us both, do you see?” she asks in her lowest voice, watching his eyes flicker; “I don’t believe you will,” Edmund says this like a vow and somehow she hangs on.
