3 Sentence Ficathon 2010

This was so much fun last year, so I'm doing it again!

The rules:

This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.

When posting a prompt please format it this way:

fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

Lastly, please pimp this to your flist, I'd like as many as possible to come and participate!

Edit: December 1: grim_lupine is being awesome again this year! She's compiled all your prompts into this delicious archive. All prompts are tagged with fandom and if it's filled or not. So, to make this easier on her, when prompting, please, use the whole name of the fandom and not just the abbreviation. Thanks!

Also: Multiple answers to prompts are not just allowed, but encouraged as well. Don't let the fact that someone else has answered it first stop you if you like the prompt!

Zach knows this is love, but has no idea what the fuck that means; he's too jaded to believe that love always lasts forever, and he knows love can fade, and he knows love does not guarantee a happy ending. Love doesn't fix the age-deep cracks in a person's heart; it can put a superficial shine over them, the happy gloss of a first kiss's exhiliration, but to fix them takes commitment; it takes work.

Zach has enough insecurities and walls for ten people, and sometimes Shaun likes to push, and sometimes they spark off of each other in a fury; the first time it happens it scares the shit out of Zach, but he learns: Shaun wants nothing more than to spend the rest of his life sealing up the cracks in Zach's heart for good; and they might fight, but Shaun comes back; he always comes back, and he always will.

I loved how creative you got with the punctuation here :) and how Zach was scared after the first fight but Shaun made him realise that things would be okay. Thank you!

:D I have a love affair with semicolons, ever since I first learned the proper, grammatical way to use them in school, and then promptly threw all those rules out the window. :P
