This was so much fun last year, so I'm doing it again!

The rules:

This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.

When posting a prompt please format it this way:

fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

Lastly, please pimp this to your flist, I'd like as many as possible to come and participate!

"They never do learn," Anya says with a grin, sly, pleased with herself; her hands are quick and exceedingly clever, and she took to cards like a fish to water. It's a beautiful thing, watching her play the innocent, knowing the delighted confidence lurking underneath, seeing her walk away from tables with her pockets full of money; Dmitri can never help it, he always laughs at the looks of stunned surprise she leaves in her wake.

"Unfair advantage, darling; you do look the sheltered princess," he says with a smirk; and she laughs against his mouth, whispers archly "do I?" and proceeds to show him exactly how sheltered she is not.
