Yesterday I went and saw the Norwegian production of Next to Normal. Norway is the first country to do it outside of the US. Wow. Just bloody wow. It was a brilliant play. It was so powerful and it moved me utterly. I don't think I've ever left a theatre feeling like this before. I was crying before the first act was done. I think I have to see it again. Because I watched some Youtube videos and I think there might be some differences. Mainly, the actor who played Gabe, played him a little less creepy than Aaron Tveit. More sad than creepy. If you ever have the chance to see this musical, I highly recommend it!
