maureen chose these icons:
1) I watched Pretty in Pink for the first (second but don't remember much from the first viewing. I was like ten or something then.) time a while ago. And I totally fell in love with it. I, to nobody's surprise, thought Stef was absolutely awesome. I immediately started shipping Stef/Andie from that first car scene. I was convinced there would be plenty of stories and went online to find fic. NOTHING! I found absolutely nothing. I have never been so disappointed in the internet before. fandomsecrets held a rec meme and I asked if anyone knew about any Stef/Andie fic at all. This lovely lady answered that she didn't know any, but where willing to write it, and I guess you can all guess which icon she used? This one. I snagged it immediately of course. Sadly I have almost never been able to use it, because nothing has really annoyed me enough lately. It will probably be used when school starts up again.
2) You all know about my recent love for Star Trek. That's Captain Kirk. And that's his captain's chair. That scene in the movie was hilarious. Therefore I love this icon. It makes me happy.
3) EMBRACE YOUR INNER NERD! Everyone should do this. y/y? The story here is that I started collecting icons long before I had anywhere to use them. (That's why I don't know who made it.) I had a whole folder of icons when I got myself a LJ and out of all my icons today this is one of the oldest.
4) Pretty things, I like them. This icon is pretty new and I haven't gotten to use it much yet. But isn't that picture just gorgeous?
5) Carro is my nickname in real life. My name is Caroline, and my dad has been calling me Carro for as long as I can remember. It sounds a little different in norwegian than in english. But yeah, it's my nickname, andmugglechump was making these pretty icons and offered to put on anything I wanted, so I thought, hey! Why not?
6) Draco Malfoy! Personally, I think he never looked as good as he did in Chamber of Secrets. I can say this because Tom Felton is older than me, and I was crushing majorly when I saw him in this movie. The scene in the bookshop when he raises his eyebrows still makes me swoon a little. I was thrilled when I found this icon. Don't know who made it though, it was collected before I realized I should note the icon makers names too.
