TV everywhere!

caramelsilverToday I want to talk tv shows. First off, I saw the new Doctor Who episode Waters of Mars and holy shit on a stick!! How awesome was that?
When he was walking away I was going 'keep going, keep going! Please don't go back, they need to die!!' and 'Yes! I'm so glad he doesn't try to save them!' then of course he turns around and saves them, but it was okay because in the process he turned batshit crazy and that's even better!
This is the reason he needs companions! He needs adult supervision! God, I was missing Donna through this. He really needed Donna here. She would have slapped some sense into him.
And the ending! My god! 'Time Lord Victorious!' I got chills, but um... he really went around the bend there. But I so loved the concept of somethings just being fixed and no matter how much he tries to change it he can't! And that's a good thing! Because no man should have that power.
Then I want to talk about Supernatural. I've really gotten into it. Not that I've watched all that many episodes. I started watching season 1 and I have watched almost all of season 1 and then I watched some of season 2 and season 3, but then I was told about the angels and I jumped to season 4. Cause angles are awesome! So I watched the end of season 4 so I could watch the new episodes.
And wow! I'm loving this season. The Dean is Michael's vessel and Sam is Lucifer's plot is awesome! So, so awesome. Everything concerning the angels are awesome. I really do like Castiel, but only when Sam is around too.
And for the record, I'm totally a Samgirl. A nerd turned awesome hunter with super special powers and a drug addiction? Yes please, *drool*
About 5.8: I really really enjoyed that episode. That might be because I do not see myself as a Supernatural fangirl and I do not go to cons, so I was not offended as I know some people was. I actually thought it was hilarious, and I really enjoyed seeing Sam and Dean insync and pissed. Especially Sam's line "No. And we have guns and we'll find you."
And since this is a new shiny fandom I have of course gone to read fic. I find the amount of slash turns me off a little and I found out an other disturbing thing about my self: I don't mind Sam/Dean, but only when Sam is a girl.
... Yes. Seems like genderfuck really is one of my kinks.

tigriswolf and read her fics. They are absolutely amazing. (If you dig out her charmed tag there's some amazing Chris and Wyatt fics there too.)
On How I Met Your Mother: Terribly, terribly disappointed. We kind of knew that Barney and Robin would break up. If only so they can get together again later. But the way they did it!! Couldn't they have taken a little more time? Used a couple of episodes to lay the grounds and show that it wasn't working. Did they have to squish it into one episode and make it so fucking unbelievable?? Gah. Not pleased.
The Big Bang Theory: If it wasn't for the total awesomeness that is Sheldon Cooper this season would have been total shit. Break up L/P and we might get our old great show back.

And Jo and Ellen! they are so awesome. and 5.08 was AWESOME. cracky in all the best ways, whee! and HEE. insync and pissed! AWESOME. anyways, sometime you should probably get back and watch the former seasons too, because the entire show's pretty awesome. It has very few aberrations, I'm quite proud of it. :D
and Waters of Mars, omg can't wait to watch that, though. The Doctor really sounds like he's going around the bend by himself! poor guy. :(

They were so in sync! Did you see them talking in unison and slamming doors and just... yeah awesome.
Oh, I think you'll like Waters of Mars. I hope so at least. Ten is really getting his crazy on. SOO GREAT!
