Complete With a Water Slide

Jocelyn really did a number on his heart and his ability to trust and he'd decided that relationships weren't worth the risk. On the third year of their mission he forgets their wedding anniversary for the first time and is surprised when he does remember that he can think of her without feeling any bitterness. The following year when that anniversary rolls around he's been with Chekov almost nine months, surprised at how quickly he let down the walls around his heart, and Chekov arranges a romantic evening to give Leonard some new memories for this date.
