This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.

When posting a prompt please format it this way:

fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

Doctor Who, Mickey/Jake, honesty.

"I'll start: when I was eight, a bunch of bug-eyed monsters came out of the sky and stole my grandma - this was my world, not yours - and I only escaped by running into a church - your turn"

The game goes on like this for a while but it takes a turn for the serious when Jake says, "Ricky was the best lover I ever had and you look so much like him so I think - I think I'm going to kiss you now."

There's a slightly stunned silence while Mickey processes this statement, "I'm okay with that," he finally answers, and he smiles because he knows he's telling the truth.

Oh lovely boys with their kissing. A lot of my thoughts are that Mickey wouldn't want the comparison but I'm sure their relationship would change and grow so that Mickey isn't just a replacement. I love that there's so little canon for them so it can be manipulated any way you want. Jake's admission was great, just straightforward and it was nice to have Mickey pause before replying. Thanks for writing this.

Oh, I'm sure this conversation was pretty far into their relationship. By this time, Mickey knows that he's not just a replacement, so he doesn't mind as much as he would have at the beginning. I'm so glad you liked it!

That makes more sense than what I thought but I did enjoy it. I love seeing responses to my prompts. This fic-a-thon has become quite addictive.
