Oh, I'm having a good week. Like really, really good. And after the crap week that was last week, this is nice.

I saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D on Friday. Still not very impressed with the supposedly awesomeness that is 3D, but I didn't get a headache or anything. So yay for that, I suppose. The film itself was nothing to get all flaily over either. It was... okay. I liked the parts in England and then it just got... shiny and boring? The cat was awesome, though.

Do you all remember that week I had in the middle of February where had a test everyday? Well, I got my tests back and I got 5 on all of them! I am beyond proud of myself. Especially the History and Philosophy test. I was so sure I had royally fucked it up and he gave me a 5-!

Today I finished writing a personal essay about sports. Anyone who has paid any attention to my LJ the last month knows that I care about winter sports, so I'm feeling very confident in the topic. I've taken extra care on my language since I actually... kinda suck when it comes to writing in Norwegian. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for a good grade.

But dude! What's happened to isurrendered? It has gone almost completely dead! This makes me very sad, because it's my favorite LJ community by far!

So, flist has been kind of quiet lately. What's up with all of you? Are you doing ok?

Good to know about Alice in Wonderland. I was only half thinking of going and now based on what you said I believe I'll skip it.

Oh. Well, it's not my place to tell anyone what they should do but... if you don't care about the 3D then I think it will be just as entertaining at home.

I'm doing good. Just finished a five thousand word fic and started another. I'm working on an episode guide for Breaking Boundaries and trying to cast two other shows.

How does the grading work for your tests? I have two sets of tests this year. One's on a scale of five and the other's out of seven. And then there's really weird conversion rates to turn a thirty into a seven, but sometimes the original scale is out of thirty-five. It's crazy.

Ooh! Ficcage is always a good thing! May I ask what kind of fic? Oh, episode guide. Damn, I knew there was something I was supposed to do. Episode guides are HARD!

Our grades goes from 1-6. 6 being the best you can get and 1 being FAIL. Not really any more complicated than that. (When you all start talking about % and stuff, I kinda scratch my head and wonder what that's all about :P)

Alice in Wonderland...I have mixed feelings about this movie. It was entertaining in a kind of ridiculous way, but I was too weirded out by the Hatter/Alice subtext. Fandom has made me accept a lot of things, but I still have issues with huge age difference.

Also, isurrendered isn't...that slow? Did you see the French Revolution show that just got posted? Also, I feel like everyone's working on fic and stuff more for their stuff, like my episode guide (http://katakokk.livejournal.com/117996.html). /Shameless pimping

Yeah, I agree, the subtext was just too weird! I got confused cause it seemed like the movie couldn't decide if it was subtext or not and... well... The movie was just plain weird.

Hee! I know! It's like, I said it and suddenly things started happening again? And don't listen to me. It's just me complaining that my favorite things won't entertain me when I'm bored:P

I am going to go and take a look at your episode guide tomorrow. I promise! Now, I have to sleep though.
