Show and Tell: My room

I promised you all that I would show you my room when it was finished... and that's like six months ago or something. But! I'm doing it now! Cause it's all clean and shit because the cleaning lady just left.


First up: My bed.


The post-its on the world has some of my favorite quotes on them. I kind of collect great quotes.

Then, because I'm absurdly proud of how it looks: My bookcase.


I'm nagging my dad to put up another one. (I have plenty of wall for it to hang on in the new part.) But my dad keeps saying that he has to fix my brother's room first. Bah! My books have nowhere to live.

My "work area". You can totally see that I spend a lot of time doing homework here, right?



And here is the new awesome part! This room used to be my brother's. But he has moved into the den and we tore down the wall, and tada! My room is twice as large.


My DVD-shelf is dangerously close to being full. I might need a new one soon.

I got a new pair of glasses today! I love them so much. They make me look fierce. The strength is also higher than the pair I bought last year. Apparently my eyesight have gotten worse. Now I have -2.0 on my left eye and -1.25 on my right. So, yeah without glasses I only see blurry figures. Here's a pic of my new awesome glasses:

Your room is so cool, bb! Haha, I totally get being proud of your bookcase. I have a small one in my room and it's full of my favorite books, except I have to keep moving stuff around and adding more books and taking some away, because I have so many favorites. XD It's organized by genre, and it's always the first thing I show people in my room. XD My mom makes fun of me for it.

Also, those glasses are so kickass! I had a pair that looked kind of like those, but I mostly wear contacts now.

I know right? I show people my bookcase too, and people just look at me strangely and nod "yeah, nice bookcase".

Haha, my mom jokes that if I woke up and the house was on fire, I wouldn't bother getting my family out of bed, I'd just try and save as many of my books as possible. XD I'm a total book-nerd.

I know what you mean. Some days it takes way too much effort to put in contacts in the morning. XD My glasses are a shiny kind of metallic purple color. I like them a lot.

Haha! Don't know if I'd remember my books to be honest. I'd dive straight for my photoalbum and get the fuck out of there cause fire is like my worst nightmare...

Thank you. I don't know what it is about a bookcase, but they are generally just fun to look at right? I think a person's bookcase tells a lot about them, don't you think?
