Meme: explaining my interests!

asphyxiational: If you want to do this meme, comment with "HEY ASS-BUTT" and I'll pick seven of your interests for you to explain in a new post.
She chose these seven things:
David Tennant: First off, this man is incredibly hot. I love him. But he is also the reason why I started to watch Doctor Who, why I love my converse shoes so much, and my nerd-glasses. I love the tenth doctor, I think he was fabulous and I cried at the end of his last ep. I so wish he'd continued on for another season. (But, really I love Matt Smith! I adore him, so I'm not sad any more.) Plus, he's Scottish, and I seriously have a thing for Scottish accents. Ugh, so sexy!
Draco/Ginny: MY OTP! Or my very first OTP at least. D/G fanfiction is what introduced me to fandom life, the reason why I started writing fanfiction and why I now have an LJ. They are the only ship I ship in Harry Potter. There's so many good DG fics out there, I'm blown away by the quality of fic this corner of fandom has.
dgficexchange was also the inspiration and reason why I started the
narniaexchange. I might have moved on a little from D/G, but they will always have a special place in my heart, and sometimes I'll just binge on some good D/G fic.
Mock the Week: THIS IS THE FUNNIEST SHOW IN THE WORLD! I love it so much. I have all the episodes on my iPod, and 30 minutes of these guys making world news funny never fail to cheer me up. I was crushed when Frankie Boyle quit, but series 8 wasn't all that bad. A new series starts airing this summer. I'm so excited.
Twilight: Ah, Twilight. The most loltastic fandom ever y/y? I adore the wank, it makes me happy. I have read all the books, and I'd readily admit that there was a period where I quite liked it. But then I started to surf around and see what other people thought, and got educated on why these books are crap. They are still my guilty pleasure though. I know they are bad, but they are still fun to read from time to time. And
cleolinda's recaps and parodies are probably some of the funniest things on the net. You should check them out if you haven't already.
Noah Puckerman: PUCKZILLA! Now who can watch Glee, and doesn't like Puck? He's awesome! I ship him with Rachel, cause I see absolutely no chemistry between him and Quinn, sorry. He has also the most amazing voice, and I love hearing him sing my name in "Sweet Caroline".
Frankie Boyle: HE IS POSSIBLY THE FUNNIEST MAN ON EARTH. I adore his cut-throat humour. I laugh and laugh and laugh at his jokes. Does that make me a bad person? Possibly, but I don't give a fuck. I also think he strangely sexy and attractive. It's something about his couldn't care less attitude, snark, his voice (Scottish accent! *drools*), and how he looks awesome in a suit and his crazy floral shirts that just hits all my buttons. Also: I'M SEEING HIM IN EXACTLY ONE WEEK!
Genderfuck: I um... love turning my favorite male characters into girls? I love writing it and I love reading about it. Want proof? Check out my tags and you'll find fic where I turned James T. Kirk and Edmund Pevensie into girls, and a fic where I turned Susan Pevensie and Lucy Pevensie into boys. I don't care for genderswap, you know where the character starts out as themselves and then gets turned. I like it when they've been born that way. Because what's interests me is the question: what would change about this character had he/she been born as the opposite sex?
The Narnia Fic Exchange 2010 is starting sign-ups soon. PIMP IT!

I think if I watch a new tv series this summer it's probably gonna be Glee. It is so enjoyable, the eps I've seen, and everyone's into it, and it just seems like there's a lot of happy! despite the drama. :) :) :) (or actually possibly Dr Who, but who knows)

Glee is ridiculous and hilarious and the songs are awesome and the characters weirdly endearing, despite their annoying tendencies.
Doctor Who is just plain awesome. Full stop. I think you'd really like it=)
