Do you want me to read your story?

Dear stupid fanfic writer.

I know you're probably only 13, but if you want me to read your story, there are some things you shouldn't do:

1)Do not say in your summary: i know, i suck at summaries, but story is better. Plz R&R. I do not believe you! I don't want to hear how much you think it sucks. I want to know what the story is about.

2) Net-speak in summary/title/story, Big no no!

3) Capitalize your "I"s! Everything looks much better when the I is capitalized.

Things you should do:

1) Title must be mistake free.

2) A good summary need tree things: A short summary of what the story is about. Warnings, and what ship. You need to make me want to read your story.

3) Get a beta! You will never be able to catch all your mistakes, get someone to help you.

Do this, and I might want to read your story.

I try to avoid it too. But some fandoms I can't find anywhere else. This post was spurred after some browsing in the Charmed part and I couldn't find one summary that was "right".
