Disclaimer: I own nothing.

He felt it in his bones whenever he went out. The feeling of a different earth beneath his feet and a different air he breathed in. The air here was dirtier, coarse, and it burned in his lungs. He was tempted to pick up smoking just to have a reason to feel like that.

He felt it immediately. He was back in Narnia again. The dirty fumes of the train station dissolved and the sweet fragrance of the Narnian air replaced it. He didn't have to look around; he could feel it and he could smell it. He was home.

Oh, that was lovely! It makes perfect sense to me; I can almost smell the difference between the air in Narnia and the air in our world. I really liked it!

Thank you! I always thought that the air between England and Narnia would be different. It's described in the books of how the air made them older and stronger, I would think that they could feel the difference=)

It's been one of my favorite imagery for a long time. I just haven't found the way to work it into my fics=)

But don't you just think that England, with its cars and factories would just make them feel like the air is dirty?

Awwww! Wow, I really love it my dear. It makes me smile because I know exactly how that feels. Or I kinda wish I did hahahahahah. Sometimes its like we can taste Narnia through our characters and then. . . we're here.

brava.

Thank you, girlie! I'm quite proud of it myself. (Probably why I pimped it to you;P) For once I actually managed to write something with exactly 100 words!

[livejournal.com profile] ineptshieldmaid already said it, but I just have to say it again. That is such an excellent notion. :)
