Obsessed? Me?

Okay, so actually talking a little serious about this fabulous movie, here's some of my thoughts. (Under a cut so you don't get spoiled if you don't want too.)



- A movie should not make you cry within the first three minutes! That's just mean.

- Young!Kirk driving the car off the cliff? So awesome.

- Anyone who can say "Live long and prosper" and make it sound like "FUCK YOU!" is a BAMF in my book. Spock is awesome.

- So how many times did Kirk end up in a fight in this movie? Three, four? And how many did he actually win? That's right, NONE. Somehow that's very endearing. And how many times did he nearly choke to death? Seriously! People were going around strangling him all over the place!

- The first scene with Kirk and McCoy is maybe the best scene in the entire film. If I owned a pair of Slash Goggles (I seriously don't. Slash does nothing for me. (this actually makes me a little sad. Since there is so much good slash fic out there.)) I would ship these two like it was my job. But... Please tell me there is some awesome Kirk and McCoy BFF4EVAH fic out there?? Cause I want it!

- HAHAHA! HE CHEATED! And Spock's like YOU BITCH!

- Spock is so whipped! We know who's wearing the pants in the Spock/Uhura ship, and it ain't Spock.

- Sulu!! He has FENCING SKILLS BITCH, YOUR POINT IS INVALID!

- Scott is awesome. "I like this ship. It's exciting!"

So, late comment is over a year late.

BUT I DID NOT KNOW YOU WERE INTO STAR TREK, C. Granted, I'm a very recent convert, but still.

I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING IN THIS POST. Especially the bit about Spock being a BAMF because of that "live long and prosper" line, which is made ten million times better by the music for the bar scene starting before the scene changes.

Also, I Scotty's "I like this ship" line. ~Multiple meanings.

(Also, I am so partial to Kirk/McCoy it's ridiculous.)
