Jan. 30th, 2010 02:25 am![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)

This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.
When posting a prompt please format it this way:
fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.
Lastly, please pimp this to your flist, I'd like as many as possible to come and participate!
Have fun!
If you have any questions ask them to the first comment.

on 2009-12-27 07:55 am (UTC)Peter scowls and kicks at Edmund's legs, almost tripping him (Edmund's balance is better than any of his siblings' and more than once he's nearly driven Peter into an early grave by walking the length of the roof, lost in thought), and they tussle briefly and companionably, but when they're done Peter straightens up into a posture that suggests the ghost presence of a crown and a high-backed throne.
"Those rules are in place for a reason," he says, but it's in a mild tone, as if he's only speaking out of a sense that someone has to be the voice of reason, and it's never going to be Edmund; Edmund snorts and counters, "Yes, to keep us all safe and brainless in our nice little prison--but it's not as if this place can afford us any danger; anyway, I only had maths and you had history, and the one I can teach in my sleep and the other is too ridiculous for you to learn; we're not meant for a cage, Peter, even one in the guise of a school, and sometimes you need me to break you out of it."
Switch (Cor, Corin)
on 2009-12-27 08:46 am (UTC)“I’d do your face in, if I didn’t have be you for the day,” his brother answered, only half-dangerously, and then with another grin, he prodded “Well, then, ‘Corin’, what do you say when Darrin threatens to thrash you for unlearning every slash and parry he taught only yesterday?”
“I’ll snap ‘Take off that armor, you metal-headed git, and I’ll show you what a thrashing is,’ ” Cor drawled, not without some relish, and at that moment, even Corin was startled at just how identical their scheming smiles could get.

on 2009-12-27 07:17 pm (UTC)Gaila knows her attendance at Starfleet Academy is an enormous privilege, one afforded to very few from her world, and despite her seemingly casual demeanor, she wants badly to prove she's got what it takes.
Every once in a while, though, the two of them declare a mental health day and walk down to the pier for ice cream and foosball - they can catch up on the notes later, but once they graduate and start their assignments, they won't get these days back.
