Oh wow, this is so great and captures Owen's feelings so well. By the way, who's Katie?

Apologies for spoilers, assumed you'd seen it. In the episode Fragments (Ep 12 Series 2) we see how each of the team ending up joining Torchwood. Owen was engaged to a girl called Katie and she was losing her memories. They thought she had early onset alzheimers but it turned out to be an alien in her head and she died. That's how Owen met Jack. It's one of my favourite bits of Owen's backstory and quite sad.

You know how much Torchwood I've seen in my life? Three episodes, plus the end of season three of Doctor Who. Spoilers are inevitable, but I don't even care because this is such a great show and I love to eat fic.

I'd recommend watching the others if you can but then I am biased *g*
That was one of the episodes that helped make Owen my favourite.

Oh, well I'm in the US with four younger siblings and no cable so I only have DVDs of the first series and can't watch it when anyone else is around. I've been lucky to see this much.
