I think this is kind of stretching the rules a little, but here is a three-sentence meta-fic and then three one-sentence fics from fandoms we have in common.


It is your birthday! You deserve presents and cake and lots of hugs. But this is the internet, so fic will have to suffice:


They had won the war against the White Witch, ended the neverending reign of winter, and restored balance to Narnia; now, in their royal dress and with all the dignity of newly crowned kings and queens, they play hide-and-seek in the forest (for they are, after all, still children, and the woods are a much better place for it than the Professor's house had been).


They sail around the world (untroubled by late-night mishaps, this time), discovering beauty in the lands they visit and each other, and Anya thinks that even if she hadn't found her grandmama, this (the curve of Dmitri's smile, the warmth of his arms) would be more than enough for her.


Once, when Tony is rather soused from ill-advised drinking games, he kisses her (off-center and sloppy, but not entirely without charm); Ziva laughs, sees him safely to his own bed, and waits for the day when he has the courage to do it sober.

"They call her the Ice Queen," Martha tells the Doctor when he comes in at the end of her shift, nodding to the tall, beautiful woman organizing clothes at the other end of the racks. "She doesn't talk to anyone, and she always has a new guy she's dating."

The Doctor has his sonic screwdriver in his hand, and his mouth and eyes go round with surprise as it whirs at Susan Pevensie.
