Misfits, Nathan/Kelly & Simon, like an old married couple

(Should I stop filling these and give someone else a chance do you think? Or are other people not likely to know what the hell we're going on about?)

He doesn't need to be invisible to feel like the one left out when Curtis and Alisha are sort-of-fucking behind any closed door and Nathan and Kelly are going through some sort of messed up mating ritual involving punches (Kelly's) and tears (Nathan's) and pretty much acting like the definition of the term "old married couple". Sometimes he listens to Kelly shouting as she tries so hard to pretend like she's not falling for Nathan's Irish charms, and imagines it's him she's shouting at, that it's him only a thin veil of fear is stopping her from shagging like it is Nathan. Sometimes he lies back on the steps and imagines a world where he's not the odd one out, not odd full stop, but most of all, a world where someone like her would look twice at someone like him.

THIS IS TRULY, TRULY BRILLIANT. This line? Nathan and Kelly are going through some sort of messed up mating ritual involving punches (Kelly's) and tears (Nathan's). OH MY GOD. I actually read it over about five times just so that it's brilliance would sink in as deeply as possible. SO KELLY. SO, SO NATHAN. And the way you included Simon makes me SMILEY. He's so...Simon! I love it, officials.
