No ordinary couple are they; late nights they come together with quick hands and breathless, teasing laughter, and afterward they clear away the sheets on the bed and reach for the deck of cards.

Dmitri teaches Anya the rules of the game, but finds she already knows the rules of how to drive him to distraction; cards hidden in one hand, eyes cutting toward him coyly, she touches the tip of her tongue to her upper lip and laughs brightly when he lets the whiskey he's drinking spill slightly from his mouth.

This is fun, she says, eyes laughing both with him and at him, and when her foot brushes bare and warm against his leg, and she smiles at him so radiant with love and sly humor, he can't do anything but agree.

Yes, I do! Technically my classes ended on Monday, but we had exams after that, and I just had my last exam today. I'M FREE. XD

FREEDOM! My break doesn't start until 22th! The school is obviously trying to kill us. (Exams were done in early December though, so yay for that.)

We get winter break, Easter break, summer break (last two months) autumn break and Christmas break. But apparently we get an earlier summer break because of the late Christmas break.

Ah, that would probably explain it. We get a random fall study break here for a few days, so our christmas break is actually a little shorter than some of my friends'.

Ah. Well we get a whole week of fall break each year. (It used to be called the potato break because the farmers needed their children to be home to help with the harvest. trufax.)
