(!! Um, this might just be the best prompt EVER. :D)

Ed smiles, slow and rich, eyes half-lidded, and watches the mark's eyes widen and his throat work as he swallows hard; Peter slides past him smooth as can be, hand dipping into his pocket and out again in the time it takes for the man to blink. "So sorry," Peter murmurs as they're jostled together, and when the man turns to look at him, then looks back, Ed is gone, and so is Peter the next minute.

Later, Ed hisses, "Why do I always have to be the distraction, Peter?" and Peter laughs; "Somehow I don't think anyone would be half as distracted by me, Eddy," he tells her, grinning bright and brushing a kiss on top of her head.

(So I guess I could only fit Ed and Peter into this. WOW. GUESS THAT MEANS I HAVE TO DO ANOTHER ONE WITH SUSAN AND LUCY. XD OR LUCAS AND SAM, IF YOU SO PREFER.)

SAM AND LUCAS WOULD BE AWESOME! This is beyond great. I love how she hates being the distraction. (And I suddenly got pictures in my head where Peter have to be the bait. Hee!)

Yeah, beside my obsession with knives, I have a big love for pickpockets and thieves as well.

:D Peter as bait would be shit at flirting with anyone to distract them; Ed would eventually roll her eyes in disgust and be like, "Yeah, okay, you're never allowed to do that ever again."

:D I love pickpockets and thieves too. Shadiness is hot! :D Have you read anything by Tamora Pierce? I think one of her characters, a pickpocket and king of the thieves, was pretty much my first literary crush. XD

Sam and Lucas

Sam rolls his eyes and yanks Lucas back by the collar, shaking him a little; "Lucas, settle down; you're driving me insane," he growls, and Lucas makes a pleading face, all big eyes and downturned mouth, and says, "But Sam, I'm so bored; Ed and Peter won't be here for an hour."

Sam purses his lips and says, "All right, obviously you need something to keep you occupied or you're going to make me tear my hair out; see that man over there, hideous yellow hat? I'll give you five minutes to get his wallet, pull out anything valuable inside it, and stick it back in his pocket without him noticing--think you can do it in five minutes?"

Lucas does it in three.
