I am back from vacation and to that I can only say HALLELUJAH! It has both been the best and the worst Easter vacation I have had in years. The weather has been crap and schizophrenic. On Friday we had everything the world has to offer of weather: Sun, rain, snow, wind... So, not counting a hugely unsuccessful ski trip, I didn't spend much time outside. The snow was so rotten that we thread through every third step. (Not sure if I'm explaining this very well.) But the good things about this vacation was that my cousin, Tiril, who is six months older than me, came with us. So, it was lots of fun having her there. Even if all we did was play lots and lots of cards and Scrabble, and read books. I didn't get the time to read four books, but I did read three. One of those was Good Omens. I loved it, and will talk about it later.

I am so happy to be home. My back has been killing me the last couple of days and it will be beyond heaven to sleep in my own bed tonight.

Few internet things:

- WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH YOUTUBE?? I'm gone a week and they've gone all weird on me! Where is the URL? That's how I download Mock the Week and convert my music into mp3 files! I need that URL!!!

- Does anyone of you use Firefox? And if you do, do you have a fancy header picture? Tell me.

Fangirl alert:

I'm completely obsessed with Max Manus and the Norwegian resistance during WWII. And because I'm a huge nerd, as my brother keep pointing out, two of the books I've read this month has been about the resistance. And I am not apologetic about it either. Unlike Narnia and Harry Potter, this obsession might do me some good in real life. It's never a bad thing to learn more about my own country's history. I have the next book all picked out and everything.

Speaking of Max Manus. I am currently watching the movie, again! Seriously, I love this movie so much. And it vexes me more than anything that this had to be the movie where I was assigned my Slash Goggles TM. I ship Max/Gregers so freaking much! And there's no one to squee with. I would so write fic for this, if it wasn't in Norwegian (it fucks with my head to write fic in English when I know they should be speaking in Norwegian.) and if they hadn't been real life people. (I'm reading biographies about these people!!) RPS is kind of my squick limit.

Also: EMIL HEGLE SVENDSEN WON THE BIATHLON WORLDCUP! There will be a celebratory picspam later.

Has anything exciting happened while I've been gone? Fill me in.

So yeah, I'm back. As I'm sure you've noticed by the two big ass posts I just posted. You may also have guessed that I'm some what of a control freak. Those posts are honestly more for my benefit than they are for yours.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Let's hope 2010 will be a good year. I can honestly say that 2009 has been the best year I've had in four years. Not that it takes much to beat 2005, 2007 and 2008 (we do not talk about 2006, it was that bad!)

Question: What will you call 2010? Are you going to say two thousand and ten or twenty ten? I think I'll use both.

New Year Resolutions:

- Go to London.
- Finish 12th grade.
- Get a B in English, History and Philosophy, Sociology and Socialanthropology, and Norwegian oral.
- Read 40 books.
- Write 3 fics that has a word count of at least 10 000 words.
- Write one original story.

I always make new year resolutions, even if I never keep them. As you can see here, most of them are fun and things I know I can do, and one is something I have to work at, which is good. I love making lists and goals and love it when I'm able to tick them off one by one. I think goals are good, even if you don't reach them. Just having them is a step in the right direction.

Aaaghhh! I want to watch Doctor Who the End of Time soooo badly! But I have to shake myself and remind myself that it's 23.50 and I have to go to bed! Not stay up and watch Doctor Who. I can do that tomorrow!!

Speaking of tomorrow: I have a dentist appointment. If it wasn't so damn early, 08.15, then I wouldn't mind it at all. I don't think there's anything wrong with my teeth this time.

I bought another year of paid account on LJ. I'm so not ready for ads and lesser icon space. But I do think I'm going to shuffle my icons around and get some new ones. I desperately need an icon of Peter and Edmund, and I think I want a Supernatural icon too... Any suggestions to where to look?

Did everyone have a nice New Years Eve? I had an awesome time. It was cold and it snowed and we went out to watch the fireworks. Afterward we had an epic snow fight which my dad lost spectacularly. You know, never start a snow fight with kids, they don't understand the meaning of no.

Today I got my new Uggs! Yay, I bought them online so they were cheaper than they would've been if I'd bought them in store. I also got a new bobble jacket today. So now I'm ready for the winter. If there only could come some snow soon. I love snow! I love the winter. I'm one of those girls that likes to pretend that I like summer, but when it comes to it, I usually spend my summer in the shade reading a book. I like winter and snow, skiing, and wearing cute snow outfits. I'm hoping it will snow before my birthday (8. december), if not it should at least be snow on christmas.

I'll send out my christmas cards tomorrow, I hope!

It's the first day of winter and there is no fucking snow! I'm getting a little frustrated. I want snow. In one week I turn sixteen and there is always snow on my birthday, always! It isn't even cold outside.
I have always been the youngest in my class, and every year I get to be same age as everyone else in exactly four weeks before someone turn older than me. Its so not fun to have your birthday in December. Three weeks after my birthday, there is christmas, so I either get two small gifts- one 8. December and one 24. December, or one big at my birthday. I firmly believe that if I was born in the summer or the spring I would get two big presents always!

And know I'm whining, I'm sorry. I love my parents and I'm really excited for my birthday... I think I know what I'm getting and I'm really happy and excited! And I'm sure that the snow will come before Christmas.

It's true! When ever it's bad weather outside I feel like crap. Especially when its fuggy and wet. My head gets really heavy (no other way to describe it) and its hard to move my body. Thank god, for acupuncture, no matter how grotesque it sounds to stick needles into a body to fix things, it actually work... a lot! I wouldn't been able to do anything today if I hadn't had treatment. When I woke up this morning I had so much trouble getting out of bed. I was not fun to be around.

On a happier note; My mum and I are going to the movies tomorrow- Just the two of us, I can't wait. We are going to watch "The Devil Wears Prada", we've been talking about going for a long time. So today I decided that we are going to go in the middle of the week since we never have time in the weekends. I really hope that tomorrow will be a good day for me. =)

PS! It snowed yesterday, but today it started to rain so now there is only slush!

It's SNOWING!!!!! I'm so happy, the first snow day of the year!! *doing embarrassing happy dance*
I hope it will snow all night and tomorrow too! Then the snow would stay;) Not very plausible, the first snow always melt away because it isn't cold enough on the ground=( But a girl is aloud to dream right?

So.... ahem:

IT'S SNOWING IT'S SNOWING IT'S SNOWING!!!!!

*Blushes, and mumbles: I'm done now!*

"Okay, four is officially your espresso limit!" *Giggles*
