Summary/Author Notes: This is allritabites fault and her awesome Jesse/Rachel picspam and this conversation:
caramelsilver: Is it just me, or, in the gif with Jacob, is Jesse looking a little marble vampire like there?
ritabites: HE WAS SO CHANNELING EDWARD CULLEN WITH HIS DETACHED SUPERIORITY. ONLY HOTTER.
caramelsilver: He's all like: I SHALL SIT HERE AND BE YOUR MANLY MAN, AND I WILL LOOK GOOD WHILE DOING SO!
ritabites: HE KNOWS WHAT IT TAKES TO BE THE PERFECT BOYFRIEND.
caramelsilver: IT'S ALL IN THE GROOMING!
ritabites: now that i think about it im suprised he wasn't the one curling his hair right before the almost!sex
caramelsilver: *spoorfle* You are so right. He probably used the time to reapply some hair mousse! After all he did promise to look "fastidiously groomed" :P
ritabites: They should have done cut aways to him with a pocket mirror, freaking out that he hadn't had enough time to prepare.
caramelsilver: Obviously there must be fic like this somewhere!? RIGHT!? Or else I might have to write it myself...
So I did!
As Rachel disappeared into her bathroom to get ready, Jesse sat down on the pink bed. It was finally gonna happen, he would finally get to have Rachel Berry's luscious legs wrapped around his waist. Jesse paced around the room some more, smiling at the pictures she had hung up, before it struck him: It had been hours since he had last groomed his hair!
Looking anxiously towards the closed bathroom door, he wondered if he'd have the time to fix his hair. Running a hand through his gorgeous locks, he decided to throw caution to the wind. After all, the hairs texture was all wrong, he had to do something.
With expert hands, he pulled out a hand mirror from his bag, together with a bottle of mousse. A star was always prepared! He sat down and looked at himself in the little mirror, god he looked awful. Good thing he caught it now, or else Rachel might have backed away in horror had she been exposed to this mess.
With nimble fingers, Jesse ran some mousse into his hair. Gradually his locks regained their normal bouncy looks. He begrudged the fact that he had forgotten to bring a comb, but his fingers would just have to do. Finally, his hair was back to it's normal star-looking self.
Packing away his grooming kit, he sighed in relief that he had been able to finish before Rachel appeared. Standing up, Jesse stretched and loosened up his neck. He was finally ready to play the male lead in this sexual show they were going to play. He and his hair would be amazing!
