Welcome to the Three Sentence Fic-A-Thon:
Jan. 30th, 2010 02:25 am![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)

This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.
When posting a prompt please format it this way:
fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.
Lastly, please pimp this to your flist, I'd like as many as possible to come and participate!
Have fun!
If you have any questions ask them to the first comment.
Edit December 10th: Thanks to the brilliant

on 2010-01-14 10:11 am (UTC)The boy grunts with exertion, and Susan can tell he's near the end of his endurance. She's not far behind; white noise is beginning to fill her mind, and she welcomes it. She closes her eyes and sees about the sun shining on the white stone of Cair Paravel (in this moment, she can almost imagine she's there still).

on 2010-01-13 10:55 pm (UTC)Puck listens with one ear until he hears an excuse to kiss her, and then he does so, leaning across the gearshaft and letting it press into his skin, because he takes his time to kiss her properly, his hands skimming across her shoulder to her neck, his lips certain.
She's breathless for a moment when the kiss breaks, something that Puck notes with pride; then she smiles and says shakily, "We're never going to get to that party if you don't start your vehicle, Puck, driving is necessary," and he just laughs a little as he turns the key and the truck rumbles to life; they sit in comfortable silence as he pulls into traffic and they go.

on 2010-01-10 05:01 am (UTC)He's learning for Narnia, but he knows when these skills will come in most handy: in the midst of battle, when he's looking after his brother from afar and there will come the time when the only thing standing between Peter and certain death is Edmund; Edmund intends to be more than ready for that day--he's learning how to fight for Narnia, and he's learning for Peter, and maybe the two are one and the same.

on 2010-01-11 12:02 pm (UTC)He used to say goodbye when it was time to part ways, because that was simply what you did, but then he got to thinking about how if they died and you weren't there, the last words you would have shared would be something banal and unfeeling like 'goodbye', so he started getting creative and doing anything that would keep those words from passing through his lips.
Another phrase he never said anymore: "I love you"

on 2010-01-16 10:45 pm (UTC)Nyota has loved words since she was a little girl - the way a collection of sounds can take on meaning - and when someone speaks she can see the words spelled out in the air in front of her, so no one is better at Scrabble than her.
When she and he pair up for tag-team Monopoly, his planning smarts and her street smarts combine beautifully and no one else stands a chance.

on 2010-01-10 08:57 am (UTC)She slips out of bed in the morning, showers and dresses, presses a kiss soft against the corner of Scorpius's mouth and smiles when he mumbles muzzily, "Whre're you goin'?"; "I have work, darling," she whispers, unwilling to break the gentle lazy spell of their bedroom this early in the morning.
"You're going to want to wear a scarf," he says into his pillow, and closes his eyes and turns over, asleep before he breathes out again; Rose frowns in confusion, then looks in the mirror for the first time since she woke up--there's a livid red mark on the side of her neck exactly the shape of Scorpius's mouth, and Rose flushes as she's flooded with the memory of Scorpius's lips pressing wetly against her skin.
She presses two fingers against the mark, and bites her lower lip; fifteen minutes later, she leaves the house sans scarf and with a smile on her face that doesn't leave for the rest of the day.

"I don't have any lips," he informs her primly, before rising heavily and walking slowly toward her, glancing back momentarily at the disappointing sun-- unfortunately, it looks like it's going to be a beautiful day.

He's Captain Jack Sparrow and he preens and swaggers and flirts (and wishes, sometimes, a little wistfully, that he had the courage to mean anything by it).
