Welcome to the Three Sentence Fic-A-Thon:
Jan. 30th, 2010 02:25 am![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)

This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like. Only one prompt per comment please.
When posting a prompt please format it this way:
fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.
Lastly, please pimp this to your flist, I'd like as many as possible to come and participate!
Have fun!
If you have any questions ask them to the first comment.
Edit December 10th: Thanks to the brilliant

...I don’t want it anymore, Uncle Bobby. It makes Daddy sad.

on 2009-12-29 07:53 am (UTC)As it is, he’s got one sister in tears and possibly moonstruck(Peter knew he shouldn’t have read her too many fairy stories when she was small); one who’s had it and furiously calls Ed names that she picked up who-knows-where (behind Ed’s back, of course, but that doesn’t stop Peter from giving Susan a warning look) ; and one who raises her eyebrows as Peter slams the door open, entirely unflustered by her big brother’s stormy expression.
“What on earth am I going to do with you?” Peter asks coldly; he’s met with an insolent yawn and an idle “If you hit me, I’ll tell Professor Kirke.”

on 2009-12-30 05:06 pm (UTC)He screamed and fled the tour, interrupting the guide's speech on how kind the marine animals usually were, and Lucille 2, bereft of her usual support, tottered forward on uncertain feet and nearly became quite intimate with a seal herself; with the creature snuffling in her ear and her hand on its warm, damp skin, she vowed not to bring Buster back-- it was clearly too soon for him, and he hadn't even seen the animal with the snappy yellow bowtie (who had decided to make that one the mascot?).

on 2010-01-27 08:20 am (UTC)It happened by accident. The girls Susan had accepted as friends wouldn't stop talking about these stupid books with The Greatest Vampire Love Story Ever Told, Ever, No Really, They're Fantastic--and lacking recent practice, her Narnia-taught diplomacy failed her; she capitulated.
She hadn't imagined that simply reading books could carry such profound consequences.

Susan doesn't know what is to come, not really, not until Aslan tells her that she can't come back, not ever and then there is only one path she can take, with only one destination.

She sees her across the street, a mirror image of herself, the water in her dark curls reflecting under the light of the electric lamp, and crosses the street.

on 2010-01-03 07:10 am (UTC)Edmund smiles and passes a finger over his sealed lips, leaning back into Peter's shoulder; Peter, who has never been able to hold his drink, mumbles a bleary Ed? and blinks at Edmund confusedly; Edmund says, nothing, Peter, I think you've had enough, and swaps Peter's mug for water.
At the end of the night Merlin is swaying and smiling foolishly, and Peter is little better, but Arthur and Edmund are still sharp; as long as the people they care about most rely on their watchfulness, Edmund and Arthur will remain so.
(Regardless of how the show portrays him, I remain firmly convinced that Arthur knows Merlin's secret and is just waiting around for him to tell him. :D Also, I haven't seen any of season 2 of Merlin, so. :D)
